Working together

Hereford Make CIC operates at the intersection of heritage, skills, and social equity and where our projects are tailored to address the UK’s growing demand for technical skills while creating inclusive spaces for people too often excluded from traditional training routes.

Hereford Make has helped to make a positive impact on the lives of many of our users

We're set up to enable individuals, communities and voluntary organisations to find the coping mechanisms, develop transferable skills and accessible resources focused on arts and crafts, to address the challenges, problems and barriers preventing them to fulfil their potential.

Forging a better future together

Our unique space in the heart of Hereford has created a blacksmithing centre of excellence where students who may be just at the beginning of their careers or professional smiths working in architecture, edged tools, and jewellery, can realise their full potential.

How your support will create change

Your support creates change by providing resources, offering guidance and diverse perspectives, fostering a sense of community, empowering individuals, and reinforcing positive behaviour, greater well-being, increased innovation, and successful achievement of goals. Your support can involve financial aid, mentorship, advocacy or helping to build trust through communication, all of which contribute to collective growth and overcoming challenges.

Your support will enable us to

  • Deliver curriculum-aligned forging workshops in schools across Herefordshire and Wales;

  • Provide paid placements and mentorships for neurodivergent makers;

  • Restore a nationally significant heritage building with training embedded in its construction phases.

What we offer you

  • Recognition of your value help and support on all programme materials and press releases

  • Co-branding and joint storytelling (social media, exhibitions, corporate PR)

  • Opportunities for your employees to engage in volunteering or maker immersion days

  • Measurable impact reporting aligned with ESG and CSR frameworks.

Getting in touch

It would be great to have a chat and we promise we won't take up too much of your time
