Supporting Neurodiverse Participants

At Hereford Make, we believe that creativity flourishes when everyone feels welcome and supported. Our community of blacksmiths, farriers and creative artists provides welcome support, and this extends to ensuring our creative hub is accessible to participants with all neurotypes.
We understand that neurological differences – including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and others – bring unique strengths to creative work. Whether you're joining us for a taster session or developing your blacksmithing skills, we're committed to creating an environment where everyone can focus on developing their creative talent.
Our Inclusive Approach
Before Your Visit Get in touch with us to discuss any specific needs or preferences. We can chat about workshop timings, sensory considerations, equipment preferences, break schedules, and communication styles. This helps ensure you have the best possible experience from the moment you arrive.
